Still arranging

Same-day arrangements, a real gift shop, and Reeds Lake Gear — all from the teal building.

The owner

Tracy Thomas

Tracy’s love of flowers started as a kid, handing out supplies while her grandmother taught floral-design classes at the local college. Her first floral job came in college — hired because she could tie a proper bow, her grandmother’s doing.

The thirty-five years since have run through greenhouses, floral wholesalers, event and production studios, and the management of a string of flower shops. She led the design team of a Grand Rapids shop named national Retail Florist of the Year by Florists’ Review. In 2015, Tracy and her family relocated to Michigan from Hawaii — and Crescent got its next keeper.
